Learning Through Theatre Series

6Believing theatre to be a dynamic vehicle for bringing history, literature and current events to life, the LEARNING THROUGH THEATRE SERIES meets the needs of both educators and students by deepening understanding and enhancing skill development. Make sure your school is part of this unique educational opportunity.

FYT's professionally designed Educator’s Guides contain pre and post performance classroom activities and are aligned with state curriculum standards. Our guides are custom-designed and provided to you free of charge. Additionally, FYT is pleased to offer Educator's Pre-Show Workshops, a teacher-training workshop series designed to connect our plays to your curriculum.

MICHIGAN YOUTH ARTS "ARTS & CULTURE TREK" GRANTS: Grants for up to $500 are available for the transporation costs of an arts-and-culture-related field trip. Click here for more information.  Applications must be submitted by January 16, 2012.
