FYT First Stage Presents ArtsPower’s Production of

JIGSAW JONES

Friday, November 22 at 7pm  

Someone in Ms. Gleason’s class is playing practical jokes. Theodore “Jigsaw” Jones claims to be the very first detective in the whole school. It’s up to Jigsaw and his friend Mila to investigate and track down the class clown. Based on the book by renowned author James Preller, this play will make audiences laugh and think as they learn the secret codes that Jigsaw must decipher to solve the mystery.

Best suited for ages 3 and up

ARE YOU MY MOTHER?

Friday, January 17 at 7pm   

At long last, Baby Bird emerges from her shell and expects to be greeted by her mother’s song. But her mother is not there. Where is she? Why isn’t she home? With the help of Dog, Cat and Hen, Baby Bird sets out in search of Mother Bird in this colorful musical adventure based on P.D. Eastman’s whimsical and well-loved picture book.

Best suited for ages 3 and up

Flint Youth Theatre’s First Stage Production of

GO, DOG. GO!

P.D. Eastman’s classic children’s book comes to life on stage in an exploration of movement, color and space. The dogs delve into life with gusto, creating a visual spectacle for the audience to enjoy. They snorkel. They ride a ferris wheel. They sing and dance and climb trees. This is a rollicking free-for-all and a big and little world of doggy fun.

THE MONSTER WHO ATE MY PEAS

Friday, April 4 at 7pm

This new musical, based on the award-winning book, tells the funny and poignant story of a young boy who doesn’t want to eat his peas. He tries to make a deal with a monster to eat the peas, but, when the monster raises the stakes, will the boy make the difficult decision to face his own fears? Children and adults alike will be entertained and engaged by Danny Schnitzlein’s wonderfully written tale about the value of will power.

Best suited for ages 3 and up
