Music and dance for all ages and abilities

violin-girlThe Flint School of Performing Arts (FSPA), with more than 3,500 students, is the largest community school of the arts in Michigan, and one of the eight largest in the US. In our state-of-the-art facility students of all ages, from infants to senior citizens, discover an amazing world of music and dance.

A caring faculty of more than 65 degreed artist/teachers guide and provide fun and challenging opportunities in music and dance, as well as preschool, ensemble and outreach programs, for beginners to advanced students from 21 counties across Eastern Michigan.

The FSPA has fostered a life-long love and enjoyment of the arts for thousands of its students, some even going on to professional careers in orchestras and dance companies throughout the world like the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony, and Dayton Ballet. Truly a place for everyone, the FSPA offers a variety of tuition free programs, as well as tuition assistance.Logo_Color
