FSPA faculty members move out of the classroom and onto the stage
to perform their favorite chamber and popular music. Enjoy a great evening
and discover just what great performers our faculty members are.
All performances are free and are held on select Friday evenings
at 7:00 pm (unless noted) at the Flint Institute of Music
Hear talented Flint School of Performing Arts faculty artists perform great
music ranging from J.S. Bach to Thelonius Monk in this exciting concert
series.
October 17, 2008: Piano, organ and harpsichord department
November 22, 2008: (Saturday, 3:00 PM) Soprano Pia Broden-Williams and
friends
January 30, 2009: Trumpeter Matt Thomas and friends
February 27, 2009: Saxophonist Jeff Price and friends
with painter Michael Rawley creating a painting as he is inspired
by the music being played. The painting, which will be created live during
the concert, will be on display later at the Flint Institute of Music.
